Denna uppsats syfte är att kontrastivt analysera den svenska respektive engelskaöversättningen av Kairos Palestina för att finna skillnader och prioriteringar samt attdiskutera vilken effekt dessa har på budskapet. Uppsatsen diskuterar, utifrån ett avgränsatantal språkliga fenomen, skillnaderna mellan måltexterna samt vad dessa indikerar vadgäller översättningarnas generella prioriteringar och strategier. Uppsatsen finner attöversättningarna drivs av olika prioriteringar vilket genererar olikaöversättningsstrategier men att måltexterna är flexibla, stundtals inkonsekventa och helatiden verkar i förhållande till källtextens komplicerade form där spåkteknik och budskapofta utgör en enhet..

China is a unique market that differs from the Western market in many ways. Companies are not required to publicize financial reports, and furthermore a heavy focus on business relationship building can make it hard for companies to have high quality streams of data to get insights about their markets. For a consultant company to successfully enter the Chinese market and helping producing and technological global firms improving their insights on the Chinese market, the consultant company needs to understand which the important factors are and how those factors can help in creating value for their potential customers. To help the analyzing and consultant firm called Kairos Future, a qualitative case study was conducted on 16 different global companies with focus on industrial production. The case study was mainly conducted through face to face interviews with decision makers who had a broad understanding of their respective companies.

This study aims to examine Business Intelligence research conduct within Swedish government agencies and workplaces in order to understand the recent debate regarding Business Intelligence research ethics and thus answer the following question: Does Business Intelligence praxis in Sweden meet ethical guidelines recommended by international field experts? Sammanfattning Detta arbete ämnar fokusera på hur ett tematiskt arbete med inslag av estetiska uttryck, i detta fallet främst skrivande/scenisk produktion, kan te sig utifrån elevernas lärandeperspektiv. Varför valet föll på detta är helt enkelt så att det är i den miljön jag arbetar utifrån mitt intresse med dessa uttryck. Det övergripande temat var könsroller, heder och utanförskap, och den sceniska framställningen fick namnet ?Kronos ?Kairos?. Det metodiska upplägget är en observationsstudie gjord under sammanlag två veckors tid och fokuserade på hur elevernas lärande skiljer sig från en mer traditionell undervisning. Samtidigt ville jag också se på hur det kan fungera att läsa ämnen parallellt utanför temat. I arbetet redovisas hur undervisningen bedrevs i såväl de teoretiska delarna av temat, såväl som i arbetet med den avslutande scenföreställningen, och hur eleverna på olika sätt tog till sig dessa undervisningsmoment. Eftersom skolans arbetsmodell ändå bygger på elevens intresse för det estetiska uttrycket är slutsatsen ändå den att några elever presterade väl i temats samtliga delar, andra kom mer till sin rätt i den estetiska delen, och för ytterligare några fanns det stora svårigheter att tillgodogöra sig undervisningen som helhet, allt beroende på olika ingångar och förutsättningar.

The aim of this study has been to create a future scenario of what archiving might look like in the future. The main theory used in the study comes from future studies, but also a theory about the social impact of technology on work were used. The questions that were analysed were about the tasks of the archivist, the appearance of the archival institution, collaboration with other LAM institutions, knowledge requirements for the archivist and the amount of archivist positions. The method used in the study was scenario writing, which derives from future studies. The source material consisted among other things of regulations and laws related to archiving together with some archival manuals.The tasks of the future archivist will probably consist of the same tasks as those of present archivists who work with digital archiving, even though archivists probably forever also will have to work a little with paper records.The future archival institution will probably retain its paper records and keep its digital records on digital storage media.

The number of young women who self-mutilate in different ways has increased dramatically in recent years. Self-mutilation is a way of trying to feel better for the moment. People who self-mutilate often have some other underlying illness such as borderline disease. Women are overrepresented in this group of people and their behaviour is often rooted in a history of childhood trauma, sexual abuse, and psychic maltreatment. The aim of this study is to reveal thoughts about the future among young women who self-mutilate.

AbstractThe purpose of this essay was to examine how young people who are about to graduate from high school define and value their future. We also wanted to se which emotions they associate with their future and what or who influences them in their choices in life.The questions for our study were:What does it mean for these youths to become an adult?What images do they have of future education, profession and unemployment?What or who influences the picture they have of their future?What kind of attitude do they have towards the future?We approached the research with a qualitative method and interviewed ten youths in high school. Our conclusion was that the youths had an ambivalent attitude towards becoming adults; it was scary and yet exciting. The youths had the impression that education was important in order get a good job and to avoid unemployment.

The aim of this work is to gain understanding of how predictions and images of future are created and maintained and how they are changed in society. An interdisciplinary approach to cultural and social aspects is used to examine how collective images about future are created. The distinction between collective images and private images is problematised. The subject matter is extracted from a previous explorative examination about Do It Yourself and OpenSource culture which are concepts of collective learning. That work is described in the foreword.The question ?How is a collective image about the future created?? is central for this paper.The interdisciplinary approach is a cross reference synthesis of philosophies, educational studies, film studies, strategicstudies and future studies.
